This site is about Healthy Food & Happy Kids, it is written by me, me being Stacey Kemeys. You can read more about me here.
In a nutshell, I am a New Zealand mum of 3 children close in age. A boy 5yrs old, a girls 3.5 yrs old and a second daughter 2 yrs old. Prior to having children and starting the blog I trained and worked as a Dietitian for 10 years. I no longer practice as a Dietitian but I still have a real passion for food and healthy eating
This site provides kid-friendly recipes that are lower in sugar than most, and with high fruit and vegetable content.
I do not believe that children should be “no-sugar” kids but I do believe if we can reduce the sugar content in everyday foods while still maintaining the yum factor then that is a win.
I try to use everyday ingredients when I create my recipes and I try to keep them simple, without too many steps.
Where possible I provide allergy-friendly options as well
