Smoothies can be perfect for snacks when you are under time pressure. I find them so handy to fuel up my hangry kids afterschool before we zoom off to sport practices and afterschool activities.

Smoothie Ingredients
You can make blend smoothies for kids out of almost anything, fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds a bit of liquid, maybe a flavor boost and something to add sweetness. Below are some of my favourite ingredients to throw in a blender and make healthy smoothies for my kids.

Sweet and refreshing this pineapple cucumber smoothie is the perfect summer cool down drink for hot days, and of course it is a great way to use up un eaten cucumber!

My daughter is Autistic and refuses most, almost all foods. I would love to get some more ideas because she will drink shakes.
