This feijoa smoothie is perfect if you have loads of feijoas on your hands this season!

  • banana
  • feijoa flesh
  • lemon Juice
  • ice cubes

Ingredient Notes and Substitutes

  • Spinach leaves: You can use any green leafy vegetables such as kale. You can also use frozen spinach.
  • Banana: This smoothie is best if you use a frozen banana.
  • lemon Juice: This can be substituted for lime juice
  • Water: If you want a sweeter smoothie this can be substituted for apple juice.

Here is how you can make this feijoa smoothie perfectly every time!

  • Frozen banana: Frozen banana adds a creamy texture to smoothies and as feijoa flesh has a grainy mouthfeel using a frozen banana makes this smoothie taste its best.
  • Acid: Adding a little acid in the form of lemon or lime juice will really enhance the flavour of this smoothie.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups baby spinach leaves
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1 Cup feijoa flesh
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • ½ Cup Ice cubes
  • ½ Cup water

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
