Tips & Tricks
Here is how you can make this HalloweenThemed Snack Board perfectly every time!
- The first thing to do is to choose a board or platter that is large enough, if you don't have one you can always just layout some parchment paper on your bench or table and build your Halloween Snack Board on that. I find if you are using parchment paper or baking paper a quick way to make it look a bit nicer is to crunch the parchment paper into a ball then spread it out again, everything looks awesome on crinkled paper!
- The next thing to add is any small bowls you are planning on using, in this case I placed a bowl of guacamole in the centre of my platter.
- Arrange the tortilla chips around the guacamole and then add the rest of the items, I find it best to group the different items ie all the skewers together, all the cheese posters together etc.
- There are many other things you can add to a fun Halloween Snack Board here are some more ideas
- Black foods: Blackberries, black olives, prunes, Oreos
- Fresh veggies: mini capsicums/bell peppers, baby carrots
- Green Foods: Pea Fritters, Spinach Muffins
- Food you can cut into shape with ghost shaped cookie cutters: Cheese slices, sandwiches, slices of watermelon.
- Spooky looking food: Beetroot hummus, cured meats such as salami or prosciutto, pretzels, witch finger cookies , gummy worms, jelly snacks
- Your favourite Halloween candy
