Top Tips

Here is how you can make these sliders perfectly every time!

  • If you don't want to use fresh mozzarella as I did, no problems at all, just be sure to pick a cheese that melts well. Colby, Havarti, Grated Cheddar, Gruyère, Swiss Cheese.
  • Brushing the sliders with melted butter before baking is not absolutely essential, but it gives them a lovely sheen and a little extra flavour.

Pizza's are such a great way to expose kids to new tastes and textures, my veggie pizza bread is another great recipe where the spinach leaves are a little less visible. And my chickpea pizza base is an alternative way to make a high protein plant based pizza base you can pop any toppings on.
