- Tinned tomatoes: You are going to be blending the tomatoes so you can use any tinned tomatoes, whole peeled, diced, crushed or purรฉed they are all going to end up purรฉed any way.

- Please note it will not look pretty when you first make it, but please also note once you cook it, it turns out fine, the green/brown fades, the redness of the tomatoes comes back and everyone is happy!
- Any left-over steamed vegetables can be used
