Lazy Lasagna
This Lazy Lasagna recipe is the one you need when you want the delicious comforting flavors of a traditional lasagna but you don't have the energy to prepare it!
My family love a lasagne for dinner, we love lasagna roll ups and we even love my Mexican Lasagna, but some days (especially at the end of the week) I just don't have the energy to prep a lasagne from scratch.
Why This Recipe Is Great For Busy Parents
- Only 5 minutes Prep Time
- Four Ingredients
- No need to boil, drain or pre-cook any of the ingredients
Ingredients you will need
- Pasta Sauce
- Ravioli
- Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Mozzarella cheese (grated)
Ingredient Notes and Substitutes
- Pasta Sauce: Use your favourite store bought spaghetti sauce or marinara sauce.
- Ravioli: Choose store bought fresh filled pastas, they do not need to be ravioli, tortellini also works well. Choose your favourite flavour. I used a spinach and cheese ravioli. I have made this recipe successfully with gluten free ravioli. You can also use frozen ravioli. The pasta does not need to be cooked before adding it to the lasagna, but it should be defrosted.
- Cheese: I like to use a mix of parmesan cheese for its flavour and mozzarella for its melting ability but you can use any grated cheese. I have used a tasty cheddar (sharp cheddar) and Colby cheese successfully.
