Ingredient Notes, Substitutes, & Alternatives
- Cheese: To create a wreath-shaped cheese feature in the centre of your Christmas Cheese Board you will need a small wheel of cheese. Camembert or Brie is perfect.
- Rosemary: Although you don't eat the rosemary, it will give a festive element to your cheese board so be sure to track down some sprigs of rosemary. Sprigs of thyme will also work.
- Crackers: You can use your favourite wafers or crackers: Rice Crackers, Cheese Crackers, Seed Crackers, Chickpea Oat Crackers.
- Fruits and Berries: I like to include a mixture of fresh fruits, dried fruits and berries on a Christmas Cheese Board. I have used: Dates, Cranberries, Grapes, Dried apricots, Caspberries, Blueberries, Pear and Pomegranate seeds on this cheese platter.
- Other platter ideas: Nuts, Olives, Cherries, Cherry Tomatoes, Blue Cheese, Cheddar
