Top Tips

Here is how you can enjoy this chocolate apple cake with your family!

  • First off the baking soda works so well as a rising agent in this recipe... BUT be very careful that it is well sifted so that you don't get any awful baking soda lumps!
  • Serve this chocolate apple cake warm with ice cream for dessert.
  • But don't forget that it's also just as yummy cold, my kids love it in their lunchboxes. If your school is nut-free you can skip the nuts in the crumble.
