Instructions
Whip the cream, vanilla and icing sugar until thick and soft peaks have formed.
Line a baking tray or large container with baking paper (make sure it will fit in your freezer). Spread the whipped cream over the baking tray so that is around one and a half centimeters thick.
Freeze for at least two hours or until firm (overnight is even better).
Use your star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out star shapes, pop them on top of a hot chocolate to make the hot chocolate super special.

Tips
If you want to get even fancier, you could dust the whipped cream with a little cocoa, gold dusting sugar, or sprinkles before freezing.
If your hearts aren't coming out cleanly try running your cutter under warm water and wiping off the excess water before cutting.
Before you start cutting out the stars, pop a second tray or plate in the freezer, you can then pop your freshly cut-out whipped cream hearts onto the chilled tray so they don't melt while you are cutting them out.
It certainly doesn't have to be a star-shaped cutter, use any shape you want, hearts would be lovely or anything really.
