1kiwi These methods will work for gold, green or red kiwifruit
Instructions
Lunchbox Classic
Cut the kiwifruit in half cross ways.
Place in the lunchbox with a teaspoon for scooping.
ZigZag Cut
Hold a kiwifruit, push a small sharp pointed knife into the kiwifruit on an angle at about the half way point.
Reverse the angle of your knife then push the point into the kiwifruit again so that you are making a shark tooth or triangle pattern around the kiwifruit.
Repeat this all the way around the kiwi.
Pull the kiwi apart and admire your zigzag cut handiwork.
Kiwi Wedges
Remove the pedicel or stem end of the kiwi. This is the end that has the hard wooden stem in it.
Cut the kiwifruit into quarters lengthwise, so that you end up with kiwi wedges.
You will now be able to eat it like you would an orange wedge. You will be able to bite into the kiwi wedge and eat the flesh just leaving the skin.
Peel With Spoon
Top and Tail the kiwi.
Take a dessert spoon, press the tip of the spoon into the flesh of the kiwi close to the peel. Run the spoon around the kiwi separating the flesh from the skin.
Use your finger to push out the whole peeled kiwi.
