Combine the cornflour and water to make a slurry (optional)
Add all ingredients to a blender (including the corn starch slurry if using), blend until completely smooth.
Pour into popsicle moulds, freeze until solid
Enjoy!
Notes
Try adding chocolate chips or peanut butter (nut butter) to the mix
Cinnamon is a lovely flavor you can add to this recipe as well.
To release the popsicles from their molds I plunge them into jug of warm water for a few seconds, then they slide right out.
Cornflour: Also known as corn starch, this is optional but does stop ice crystals from forming in the frozen mixture.
Bananas: The riper the sweeter and better your popsicle will be.
Milk: This can be substituted with yogurt or a dairy-free milk alternative. (almond milk, coconut milk)
Honey: If you are making these for a child under one year of age please do not use honey. Either skip using a sweetener entirely or use maple syrup as an alternative.
Turmeric: Optional, the frozen banana popsicles will be delicious with or without the turmeric.
