Ingredients

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 2 Tablespoons Pizza Sauce
  • 30 g chopped spinach
  • 50 g diced onion
  • 1 small carrot (grated)
  • 1 rasher streaky bacon
  • 30 g cheese (grated)
  • milk for brushing the pastry

Instructions

  • Lay a puff pastry sheet and 2 portions of frozen chopped spinach on your bench and allow to defrost. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees celsius.
  • Spread the puff pastry with pizza sauce. You want to spread the topping over three-quarters of the puff pastry sheet, leaving one-quarter free from toppings.
  • Sprinkle chopped spinach, grated carrot, and diced onion over the pizza sauce.
  • Add a rasher of bacon and sprinkle on grated cheese.
  • Brush the pastry that has no toppings with a little milk. You can use a pastry brush, but honestly, you can also just dip your fingers in a little milk and rub it on.
  • Roll up the pizza pinwheel towards the milk-brushed end of the pastry.
  • Slice into 6 even-sized pieces and place on a baking paper-lined baking tray.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
