  • 400 g canned chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
  • ¼ cup cocoa
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 medium ripe banana optional


  • Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas.
  • Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Serve or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
